Tour Policies & Important Information
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to tour departure date / time for a refund (The booking surcharge fee is non-refundable). There is no refund for cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled time of tour departure. On delayed openings, you have the option to get a refund, if you cannot make the delayed tour time.
CHECK IN, CUT OFF & FORFEIT TIME
Check-In Location is on the North Side of the Ken’s Tours building at the Windows marked “Check In Here”. Check-in is 30 minutes prior to your confirmed tour time. Tours line up 10 minutes prior to departure time. All Groups who have NOT checked-in and are waiting in line for tour departure 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the tour, forfeit their reservation and those spaces will be filled with walk-ins. NO REFUNDS will be given in this situation.
Guests will recognize that the forfeit time is 10 minutes prior to the tour departure time. All guests who have not checked in by XX:19 and XX:49 will forfeit their seats and their seats will be filled with any existing walk-in / standby list. All forfeited seats will not be refunded. The guests that forfeited their seats have the option of being placed at the end of any existing waitlist, if they should choose to wait and hope that space becomes available on a later tour. There is absolutely no guarantee that Ken’s Tours will be able to accommodate all guests. Forfeited reservations are non-transferrable to any other day.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION:
The credit or debit card used to reserve your reservation and a valid form of government-issued identification will be required upon arrival for check in. Government-issued identification includes a driver’s license, passport or military identification.
Navajo Nation Park Permit Fee
The Navajo Nation Park Permit Fee of $8.00 is required when visiting Lower Antelope Canyon.
The Permit fee is valid for 1 day only. If you have paid this fee at another Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park, you can request a refund upon arrival at Ken’s Tours. (Please bring your Receipt or Confirmation Letter upon arrival)
You have already paid for the Navajo Nation Park Permit Fee when you have booked this reservation. (Please see above receipt)
NOTICE
**FILMING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE LOWER ANTELOPE CANYON.**
BAGS, BACKPACKS, FANNY PACKS, HYDRATION PACKS, HIKING STICKS, CANES, GYRO-STABILIZERS, SELFIE-STICKS, AND GOPROS ARE NOT PERMITTED on any Lower Antelope Canyon tour.
NO ALCOHOL, CONCEALED WEAPONS OR FIREARMS ARE PERMITTED ON ALL NAVAJO TRIBAL PARKS.
No Pets or Animals are allowed into the canyon. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but to respect our guests that are allergic to dogs, cats, and other animals, you may not bring your pets and animals into the canyon. We abide by strict rules and regulations to Protect and Preserve the Canyon. Because of the extreme temperatures, leaving them in your car can be fatal.
We do not have an area to leave or leash your pets/animals, but we have pet kennels for rent on a first come, first serve basis. Service Animals are not allowed in the building or on tour.

The duration of the tour ranges from 50 minutes – 60 minutes depending on the season and flow of the canyon (all walking). Tips are Appreciated for Tour Guides.
You may bring: HATS, SUN GLASSES AND WATER.
WEATHER
Ken’s Tours reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather. During weather cancellations, if your scheduled tour has departed, you will forfeit your tour and fees. NO REFUNDS will be given in this situation. If Ken’s Tours cancels tours due to weather prior to your tour’s departure, you will receive a full refund. Please include a valid email address and cell/mobile number, so we can notify you of any weather related closure. For more information please go to lowerantelope.com (also for map and directions).
HEAT ADVISORY:
In the Lake Powell region, the temperature can reach above 100 degrees Fahrenheit with low humidity. The dry heat can dehydrate you at a faster rate compared to an area with high humidity. Since you will be in direct sun exposure for most of the day, we do recommend drinking plenty of water, electrolytes and wearing sunscreen.
DIRECTIONS
We are located 2 miles east of Page, Arizona. From the traffic light at Coppermine Road, travel 2 miles east on US 98. Turn left (north) onto Antelope Point Road (Navajo Route N22B). Go North for 1/4 mile, Ken’s Tours is located on the left (west) side of the road. You will see two buildings in the area and our sign that reads “Ken’s Tours”

TIME and TIME ZONE
All times on our site and confirmations are in ARIZONA TIME (Summer time: Same time as Pacific Time; Winter time Same time as Mountain Time. – No Daylight Saving Time – Not Utah Time – Not Navajo Nation Time). Because the Utah State Line is less than 7 miles away, cell phone towers from Utah (and the surrounding Navajo Nation) often will be the wrong time! Do yourself a favor and do like the locals do: Manually set your cell phone to PHOENIX, AZ time.
